It was so terribly plain, not to mention it had like 6 layers of paint on it...I don't even know if it was wood or laminate topped. I am assuming laminate, because it was that lame!! I had to sand that sucker DOWN like crazy-mad. Then I spray painted it my favorite color, blue, and add some wood scrolls that I purchased at Lowe's, for like $3 each I think! I was going to buy some new hardware for it, but decided not to, because I am more than likely getting rid of it once I find a more "dreamy" one! So spray paint worked just fine!
Here are the before & afters.....
Ignore all that sawdust from a previous project...I figured I could sand this baby down and sweep after! mmmkay!?
I feel like it works for now, and then when I find the perfect dresser I will probably move this one out to my shop for all my spray paints and brushes!
Does it look okay? Or does it scream WHITE TRASH! LOL!
If you live in my area and have an old dresser you want to get rid of...HOLLA!!
Have a great SUNDAY!!...
P.S. That pink wall has GOT to go!! No worries! I'm on it like a baby bonnet!

Can you tell me more about the antiquing glaze? I would like to do something similar to some mid-century modern dressers, and I like the color yours ended up. I've never tried antiquing.
